Most partnerships start the same way. A few calls, a proposal, and then maybe a show together. And that’s usually enough to get a sense of capability. But it doesn’t always show how a team actually works or who they are.
The part that really matters happens before any gear hits a show site. How the plan comes together, where decisions get made, and just how prepared everything actually is.
That’s harder to see from a distance, so we open the door. Every now and then, we invite
partners out to visit us in Colorado. Nothing overly formal and no presentation to sit through… just a chance to tour the facility, meet our team, and get a real look at how we approach the technical side of live events. You’ll see how systems are built, how teams are structured, and what happens before a show ever leaves the building.
So what does a visit to Encompass usually look like? Most visits look something like this:

If timing is tight, we can compress it. We’ve done it in a single day before.
Why is it worth the trip? The technical side of a show carries a lot of weight. If something feels off, it shows up quickly, whether it’s in the room, in rehearsals, or in front of the client. That’s why experiencing preparation matters as much as seeing onsite execution.
When you can see how a team prepares, it changes how you evaluate them. It removes some of the guesswork and gives you a clearer sense of what working together will actually feel like.
